Located
15 km fromTuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapa de Corzo was
founded in 1528 by Diego de Mazariegos in the
border of river Grijalva, in one of the more
ancient arqueological site in mayan world. The
city was designed in rectangular grid from the
center square, and in this place we find the
famous colonial fountain mudejar style
constucted in the second half XVI century.

Cristobal de las Casas 62 km to go you need
take the highway 190 or the highway 195 from
